OUR Year 13 students had their second social event of the term on September 24th – a Black Tie Dinner in the stunning Monastic Barn.

Speaking about the evening, Head Boy, Ted Pepper, said: “We started off the evening with drinks on Hill House’s lawn and we then moved into the Monastic Barn for a fantastic three-course meal. This consisted of chicken terrine to start, lamb and puy lentils for main, and lemon tart for dessert. It was great to see everyone enjoying themselves and in such good spirits after such a long stint without social events.

“On behalf of everyone in Year 13, I would like to say a huge thank you to the School Catering Team for providing such fantastic food, and a special mention must go to the Teachers for their great waitering skills! It was a brilliant evening and we are looking forward to many more throughout the year.”
