Splendid sunshine, happy children, proud families, and an impressive variety of activities made for a superb Sports Day at King's Ely Acremont Nursery! 

As ever, our dedicated team of Nursery Staff went all out for their annual 'Sporty Stay and Play Afternoon', organising a whole host of fun events for the children and their loved ones to enjoy.

In true Sports Day fashion, the afternoon started with the running races. A huge crowd of supportive parents, grandparents, siblings, and other family members lined both sides of the track to cheer our little Eleans on as they raced to the finish line in small groups. Participating in front of so many people is no mean feat for children so young, and we are proud of every pupil for displaying such fantastic courage and resilience.

After the races, children and their families enjoyed a carousel of sporty activities in Acremont's spacious garden, including bean bag throwing, howler hurling, hockey, football, basketball, and soft play. The children were also excited to show their guests around Acremont's fabulous outdoor learning and play facilities, including the Hobbit Hut, the King's Carriage, and the Round House.
