OUR Year 12 Geography students headed to North Norfolk last week!

On May 19th, the group used a range of techniques to conduct a beach sediment analysis to find evidence of longshore drift in Blakeney.

May 20th was an earlier start to the day, where students carried out coastal flood risk mapping at Sea Palling. Here, students studied the sea defences that were put in place following the flooding of 1953, before finishing the day at Happisburgh, looking at an area undergoing rapid rates of coastal recession.
