DO you remember in February we told you how King’s Ely Junior pupil, Willow, was helping to spread positivity in her local community by hand-writing letters and jokes, and then delivering them to residents at Terrington Lodge Care Home in Norfolk?

Well, Willow has continued to write letters and different themed jokes to the residents most weeks since, and this weekend she delivered 20 Easter goodie bags to the care home, which is near where she lives.

Willow, who is in Year 3, said: “I saved up my pocket money to make up 20 ‘Easter Bags of Smiles’ for the residents. The bags contained diabetic sweets and chocolates, nail files, a smiley face mask, love heart hand wash, a mini rainbow rubber, bamboo paper tissues, a handmade soap bar, a stretchy yellow stress reliever, and obviously an Easter joke!”

Well done Willow – what a wonderful thing to do!
