What else did you participate in during your time at King’s?

Rowing – I was active with the Boat Club at King’s for six years, and I can say with confidence that it was on the river that I had some of my best and most memorable experiences, as well as made some of my closest friends.

Duke of Edinburgh’s Award – In the Sixth Form, I took part in DofE Gold, learning many important life skills, such as how to approach new and unfamiliar situations.

Drama Productions – Since joining King’s, I have been involved in many of the theatre productions, and in the last six years I have thoroughly enjoyed being part of the student-led backstage team, who help to ensure that the productions run smoothly.

Da Vinci Club – In the last few years, I have attended Da Vinci Club, which is one of the after-school enrichment options which the Science Department offers. I found it really improved my critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, and it was invaluable in preparing me for university interviews.

Scholar – I was lucky enough to be a King’s Scholar, as well as a STEM and Sports Scholar. All of these have provided me with amazing opportunities, such as building a go-kart and of course taking part in the annual Hoop Trundle!

Prefect/Deputy Head of School – In my last year, I was Deputy Head of School. This was a great opportunity to give back to the school community as a student who had come all the way through King’s from Year 3.
