I joined King’s Ely Senior in Year 9.

What A-Level grades did you achieve?

Economics – A*, Geography – A*, Psychology – A.

What University/Institution are you going to and what will you be studying?

I was initially going to Cardiff University, but now I am planning to apply to Manchester University for Economics and Finance.

Are you going to University this year, or are you taking a gap year?

I am taking a year out, as I am hoping to travel the world and broaden my life experience. I also plan to gain valuable work experience and learn new skills that will hopefully help me at University next year.

What career path do you plan on pursuing?

I am not totally sure, but I am possibly steering towards finance/investing as this is an industry that I am captivated by.

What else did you participate in during your time at King’s?

I was joint Tennis Captain with Joseph Coppin. I really enjoyed all the Tennis sessions, coaching and matches throughout my years at King’s. The House Music Competition was also a particular highlight and something very unique to the school.

Do you feel that you have been well supported at King’s?

I was very well supported! All my teachers were very helpful, and I feel they genuinely wanted the best for me. The teachers are very generous with their time, and are willing to stay late after school and give up break times to give support sessions and answer questions. Resources provided were very helpful and of a high quality!

What will you miss most about King’s and what did you enjoy most during your time here?

The buildings and setting at King’s are amazing, and they make it a very unique place to study. There is a good atmosphere and the community spirit is strong. I will miss the support and commitment of the staff, and of course all the mates I have made over the years.
