KING’S Ely Sixth Form student, Victoria Davis, has been awarded a DipABRSM (Diploma of The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music).

Victoria, who is in Year 13 and is from Ely, has secured the prestigious DipABRSM on Flute with a Distinction. It is two levels higher than a Grade 8 and one level higher than an ARSM Diploma.

Director of Music Performance at King’s Ely, Neil Porter-Thaw, said: “Victoria is an exceptionally talented musician who has been heavily involved with the Music scene here at King’s Ely since a very young age.

“Victoria is our Music Secretary and to say we are proud of her DipABRSM would be a slight understatement. Congratulations to Victoria and her marvellous flute teacher, Liz Hargest!
