KING’S Ely Sixth Form student Annabel McCraith has been recognised in this year’s Young Artist Awards.
Hundreds of children and young people entered the competition, which is organised by the Royston Arts Society.
Annabel, from Bassingbourn, Hertfordshire, secured 5th place with her oil painting, entitled ‘Through the Looking Glass’, which depicts an in focus eye against a heavily impastoed background.
Annabel’s painting and all of the other winning entries will be on display at Royston Town Hall, in Melbourn Street, on Saturday and Sunday, September 29th and 30th. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
