KING’S Ely Sixth Form students, Holly Burke and Mia Gray, did themselves and the school proud when competing at Henley Women’s Regatta on July 3rd.
The girls rowed in the Under 18 Doubles category and really gave it their all.
Craig Ward, our Head of Rowing, said: “In a tough field, Holly and Mia qualified through the time trial into the last 16, which was a great result. They then came up against Claires Court School, who produced a very strong row to defeat us. The girls really gave it everything and we are all so proud of their efforts!”
