“INCREDIBLE”, “fabulous”, “outstanding from start to finish”… These are just some of the words people have used to describe our first Recital Series Concert of the new academic year.

Our Recital Series is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year and last night’s (September 28th’s) concert in the Recital Hall featured twenty-one performances from some of our most talented Senior musicians.

Neil Porter-Thaw, our Director of Music, has described the concert as “stunning” and says he could not be prouder of the students and Music Department if he tried.

Many members of the audience have reached out to Mr Porter-Thaw today with their feedback from the concert.

One person wrote: “What a privilege to listen to all the students. They must have worked so hard and they were so professional. Please do pass on my thanks and congratulations to them all for a fabulous evening and to everyone who supported them from behind the scenes.”

Another concertgoer wrote: “An incredible evening! We listened to outstanding talent thinking that the next performer surely cannot be as accomplished as the last, but they were. I cannot tell you my favourite performer as there were so many. What an incredible Music Festival it will be next term.”

Another attendee wrote: “What an absolute pleasure – people pay a lot of money to see a show like that!”

Congratulations to all our musicians who performed, kudos to all members of our Music Department and thank you to everyone who supported the concert. If you were unable to attend last night, the students’ performances were recorded and we hope to post these recordings on our socials soon!
