I joined King’s Ely Senior in Year 9.

What A-Level grades did you achieve?

Photography – A, Maths – C, Computer Science – C.

EPQ in Cryptocurrency and Finance – A.

What University/Institution are you going to and what will you be studying?

I am going to the University of Liverpool to study Game Design.

Are you going to University this year, or are you taking a gap year?

I am starting University this September.

What career path do you plan on pursuing?

Hopefully working in a team as a game developer in a big games corporation to help create the next generation of professional games. I am also potentially interested in taking a business or managerial approach to the games industry and founding my own games studio.

What else did you participate in during your time at King’s?

I was in the school’s Performance Tennis Team, which I really enjoyed. Having the opportunity to photograph school events, such as House Song and Jazz Night, was a real pleasure as well.

Do you feel that you have been well supported at King’s?

I always felt welcome at support sessions, and I was glad that they were there, especially for Maths. My Computer Science teachers were very supportive throughout the course, and would always help if I was unsure of something. My Photography teacher was very clear in describing what I needed to do for my coursework, and would always nudge me if I was falling behind.

What will you miss most about King’s and what did you enjoy most during your time here?

I will miss the friendly, welcoming atmosphere during breaks, and also the laughs we had in our Photography lessons.

In what ways do you think King’s is unique or special compared to other schools?

The Sixth Form facilities are certainly unique. The Old Palace is a very special building, and I would argue that the Sixth Form lunches are unbeaten.
