Kudos to King’s Ely Prep pupil, Samuel, for his achievements at the 2024 Junior Inter County Squash Finals!
Squash-loving Samuel, who is pictured third from the left, competed in the Under 13 Boys category at the fiercely-contested finals, which took place in Sheffield.
Samuel, who is in Year 6, won four of his own six matches in the qualifiers and the finals, and contributed to the Cambridgeshire team, pictured, placing sixth overall.
The boys secured a place in the finals after beating teams from Oxfordshire, Warwickshire and Lincolnshire. In Sheffield, they took on some of the strongest junior squash players in the country.
Samuel started playing the sport around three years ago. He is a member at Ely Squash Club and also trains in a junior squash academy at Hunts County Squash Club!
