THE King’s Ely community is saddened to learn of the death of John Waller.
John, who was appointed Head of Maths at King’s Ely Junior in 1980, was also Housemaster of Goodwin. He died in Addenbrooke’s Hospital on July 12th after battling cancer for several years.
John left King’s Ely to teach at Senior School level, first at Reading, and ultimately at Trinity School, Croydon, from where he retired around a decade ago. Until very recently, he was working as Principal Examiner in A Level Mathematics for Cambridge Assessment.
Our thoughts are with John’s wife, Anna, and his family and friends.
