OH, to be a child again!
Mr Day joined some of our Reception children at their weekly Forest School session with Ms Gervasio and Mrs Walker on September 30th.
‘Leaf crown’ making, log-pile climbing, mini-beast hunting, den building… Our Pre-Preppers are so fortunate to get to do all of this without even having to leave the garden at King’s Ely Acremont.
Yes, the children get mud on their tracksuits, sticks in their wellie boots and the odd feather in their hair, but they also get creative, they learn to manage risks, they explore the natural environment, they problem-solve and, most importantly, they have fun!
