KING’S Ely Junior’s Improvisation and Storytelling sessions in the run-up to half term saw pupils travelling on a ‘Space Adventure Quest’ to search for a hidden planet!

Students donned some fantastic costumes, including wigs, NASA suits and an astronaut hat made from tin foil! They also brought with them many props from toy aliens to a ‘space’ puppy.

Alexandra Moxon, Director in Residence at King’s Ely, said: “It has been incredibly impressive each week to watch the groups change character and respond to the ever-unfolding stories, locations and environments. Often professional performers struggle with improvisation, but children have the amazing ability to imagine and create without the social insecurities that we can develop as adults.

“The sessions have been an absolute joy and I look forward to continuing them after half term. Once again, a huge thank you to the parents and carers who have helped the participants get ready each week.”
