ACTOR, writer and director Barry Evans popped into King’s Ely Acremont on January 8th to run a fun-filled Alice in Wonderland themed Drama Workshop with Year 1 pupils.

Year 1 Teacher, Jo Lyall, said: “Barry took us on an immersive and enchanting journey down the rabbit hole, enacting Alice’s shrinking and growing escapades in order to open the tiny door. After all the exertion of the Caucus Race, we were ready for an eccentric and wild Hatter’s Tea Party, some crazy party games and even the Lobster Quadrille.

“The afternoon concluded with a visit from the enigmatic Cheshire Cat, who left her grin hanging whilst she became invisible, and finally the ridiculously furious Queen of Hearts, who bopped the Hatter on the Head for drinking her tea! Curiouser and curiouser…”
