IT was wonderful to welcome the Prince of Peace Choir from the Diocese of Kigali to our Senior Cathedral Service at Ely Cathedral on October 14th.
The choir were touring schools and churches across the Diocese of Ely with the Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Kigali, Rev. Nathan Amooti Rusengo.
The choir spoke to King’s Ely students and staff about the Genocide and how it has affected their families, as well as about their faith and the peace keeping work they do in Kigali.
King’s Ely Chaplain, Rev. Dr Ros Lane, said: “Their music filled us with hope for the future and made a real difference to our wet Monday morning.”
