KUDOS to Bury St Edmunds Hockey Club’s U14 Girls’ Team – of which King’s Ely students Phoebe Thurlow and Lotte Hulscher are members – for winning their England Hockey Tier 2 National Finals!
Lotte (Year 7), Phoebe (Year 9) and their teammates were crowned National Champions after beating Surbiton Hockey Club 4-0 in the Finals.
A post on Bury St Edmunds Hockey Club’s Facebook page says: “The U14 girls have been absolutely sensational in their Tier 2 National Cup run, and performed incredibly to beat Surbiton 4-0. Everyone at the club is so proud of everyone involved, thank you to all the players, coaches, manager and parents. National Champions!”
