OUR Reception children at King’s Ely Acremont Pre-Prep are learning all about toys and games through the ages. What better way to complement their fascinating new topic than with a visit to Ely Museum!

Both Reception classes walked to the museum on May 16th to take part in a workshop where they got to learn about and play with all sorts of charming toys from the past.

After lunch, the children (and staff of course!) experienced some parlour games, including ‘Hunt the Thimble’, and then watched a puppet/storytelling show.

Thank you Ely Museum – the children have been playing parlour games in the Acremont garden ever since their visit!
