WELL done to King’s Ely Senior student, Ollie Dickson, for completing his epic Swimathon challenge.

Ollie, who is in Year 9, swam 5 kilometres – the equivalent of 200 lengths – at One Leisure St Ives on May 8th, not only to put his stamina to the test, but also to raise funds for three charities – Cancer Research UK, Marie Curie UK and The Swimathon Foundation.

Ollie completed his 200 lengths in 1 hour 40 minutes and 41 seconds. He swam the last 50 metres of the challenge with butterfly stroke.

Ollie has raised £350 in sponsorship so far. You can sponsor him at: www.justgiving.com/fundraising/ollie-dickson
