WHAT a weekend it was for Cricket here at King’s Ely as part of our inaugural Summer Sporting Festival!
On June 28th, Captain Alex Meddle and his team of King’s Ely staff took on a very young and energetic Old Elean side on what was a beautifully warm evening down on Campus Field.
As ever, the game was played in wonderful spirits and saw the staff team beat the Old Eleans by 6 wickets.
June 29th’s game – held on the hottest day of the year so far – was again played in great spirit and saw, for the first time in 8 years, the school’s current 1st XI team beat the Old Eleans by 3 wickets.
