OLD Elean, Lauryn Sandland, is putting her sewing skills to good use by making fabric face masks for the NHS.

Lauryn, who is studying Fashion at the University of Leeds, said: “I’ve also been approached by care homes to make masks for their frontline workers. The masks I make follow NHS guidelines and help protect those who don’t have access to PPE. I’m finding it such a rewarding thing to do.”

Well done Lauryn!
