CHANRE Bond, Head of Girls’ Games at King’s Ely Senior, hosted this month’s ‘Offside Line’ – an initiative we launched recently to help broaden our students’ sporting horizons.
Miss Bond’s talk on November 15th was entitled ‘The Top Six Inches’. She spoke to students a little about her own International Hockey career with South Africa, delved into the importance of visualisation with regard to improving performance, and threw in a few intriguing practical tips on muscle trace initiation.
Upcoming ‘Offside Line’ presentations will see Old Elean and Rowing Coach, Phoebe Bradbury, talking about diet and nutrition with flexibility workshops, and students will soon enjoy a webinar with Team GB Hockey Gold Medallist, Crista Cullen…
