IT’S ‘Maths Week’ at King’s Ely Acremont Pre-Prep this week (January 31st to February 4th)!
The fantastic ‘Dancing Digits UK’ visited us today to run fun-filled workshops combining maths with movement and music with children in Nursery 2 through to Year 2.
Rachel Axten-Higgs, Class Teacher at Acremont and our Maths Co-ordinator, has planned an action-packed programme of physical and problem-solving activities – all designed to ignite curiosity and lift maths from the classroom unit cubes and number lines to the very creative and musical world of mathematical dance and drama!
