LIZZIE Cavill, daughter of King’s Ely Maths Teacher, Steve Cavill, visited the school’s Psychology Department on June 21st.
Lizzie has just finished her degree in Maths and Psychology at Newcastle University. As part of that degree, she had to undertake some research and she chose to focus on the effect of rehearsal and timing on the eyes as cues to deception. In other words, to see whether we can tell that someone is lying from their eye movements!
She gave a very engaging presentation to our KEI GCSE Psychology students and Year 12 A Level Psychology students. Thanks for coming in Lizzie!
