YEAR 1 King’s Ely Acremont pupils took the time to write some special postcards to say ‘thank you’ to someone at home.
The children visited the postbox in Egremont Street to post them themselves, before learning all about the journey that a postcard or a letter makes through the postal system.
They realised that no matter how easy it may be to send a message by text or email, there’s nothing that can really match the excitement of receiving a handwritten postcard!
