ART students from King’s Ely Sixth Form won all three A Level category prizes at the annual Art and Design exhibition for schools competition at the Babylon Gallery in Ely.

Adam Marsh, who graduated last year, received the first prize for his Fine Art. Lara Edwards received the second prize for her Fashion Design project, and Peter Casey, who is currently in Year 13, received the third prize for his photography work.

The students were awarded their prizes at the Private View of the exhibition on Friday (8).

Alison Rhodes, Director of Art at King’s Ely Senior, said: “This is a lovely competition and exhibition of work where local schools are collaborating with the Babylon Gallery and Ely Hereward Rotary Club and sharing the display with our community. Guests at the Private View commented on King’s Ely’s high standard of work and originality.”

The exhibition is on display at the Babylon Gallery, Babylon Bridge, Waterside, Ely, until Sunday January 17.
