KING’S Ely Junior pupil, Michael W, and King’s Ely Senior students, Elliot Dickson, Ollie Dickson and Keira Mavin, were on great form when competing at March Marlins Swimming Club’s Autumn Challenge earlier this month.

Michael, Keira, Ollie and Elliot were all representing St Ives Swimming Club in the competition.

Michael competed in the 50-metre backstroke race. He came second and was the fastest 11-year-old. Not bad at all considering it was his first competition race since March 2020!

Keira achieved a medal in every race she swam in, collecting a total of three Silvers and three Bronzes, with four personal best times. Keira competed in 50-metre butterfly, 50-metre freestyle, 100-metre backstroke, 50-metre backstroke, 50-metre breaststroke and 100-metre breaststroke.

Ollie won a Gold medal for his 200-metre individual medley and two Bronze medals for the 200-metre freestyle and 50-metre butterfly, respectively.

Elliot competed in the 50-metre freestyle and despite not winning a medal, he achieved a personal best time of 29.33 seconds.

Fantastic achievements everyone – well done!
