A group of Senior students and Miss Bird, who is our Head of Cross Country and Athletics, attended Littleport Parkrun for the first time on September 23rd.
Miss Bird said: “It was a fresh and early start but all the runners soon warmed up, and we saw some amazing efforts from everyone across the 5-kilometre course. Apparently the course was challenging, but everyone enjoyed it, and they are keen to see how much they can improve next time. We will return on October 7th and any King’s Ely Senior student is welcome to join us, all they have to do is email me!”
