TWENTY King’s Ely students competed in the annual St Ives Regatta on June 23rd.
There were some impressive performances as students had the opportunity to race in a variety of boat categories, and several King’s Ely crews made the semi-finals and finals of the event.
Winning crews were:

WJ15 1x – Georgia Chapman
WJ18 1x – Alice Dickens
W Senior 1x – Emma Tarshish
W Senior 2x – Emma Tarshish/Alice Dickens
J18 1x – Alex Millard
Mx Senior 2x – Will White/Emma Tarshish
A quad of Emily Moore, Rebecca Garrett, Holly Lancaster and Rahera Greatrex also travelled to Henley to compete in the prestigious Henley Women’s Regatta over the weekend.
They missed out on progressing to the knock-out phase of the tournament by less than one second. The girls will now spend this week focussing on trying to gain entry to the Henley Royal Regatta.
