WE are delighted to say we were able to donate and deliver a further 100 personal protective equipment (PPE) face shields in the local area on April 9th.

The wonderful Ely District Nursing Team, based at the Princess Of Wales Hospital, received 60 face shields and Dimensions UK received 40 shields to help protect its staff, its users and their families in Cambridgeshire. The charity cares for and supports people with learning disabilities and autism.

Pictured are some of the local District Nurses and Dimensions UK Cambridgeshire staff with their colourful shields!

Patrick Carberry, Head of Design and Technology at King’s Ely Senior, has now made hundreds of PPE face shields, enabling us to donate them to Dimensions UK, the Ely District Nursing Team, Mihomecare Cambridgeshire, St Mary’s Pharmacy in Ely, Hinchingbrooke Hospital and St George’s Medical Centre in Littleport so far…
