KING’S Ely Junior hosted its first ever ‘Digital Picnic’ on May 10th.

Students, teachers, parents and guardians attended the event to learn more about staying safe online.

The stars of the afternoon were the Year 6 and 7 Digital Leaders, who ran information stalls on popular APPs and games, such as Instagram and Fortnite. They dispensed invaluable advice about how people of all ages can stay safer when using them.

Visitors to the stalls were given leaflets of information produced by the Digital Leaders and everyone in attendance went home with a big bundle of ideas and advice!

We look forward to hosting the next Digital Picnic for families with children in Years 3-5 on Tuesday, May 22nd at 4.30pm.
