OUR Year 5 and Year 6 King’s Ely Junior pupils took part in a fun-filled NRICH mathematics project Webinar on November 13th, organised in an attempt to break the world record for the largest ever Maths lesson!

Head of Key Stage 2 Mathematics at King’s Ely, Nell Bond, said: “We took part in the Webinar hosted by NRICH and problem solved all sorts of questions involving teddies and classroom spaces.

“It was a lot of fun and we really developed our problem solving, teamwork and communication skills, as well as a more secure understanding of volume.

“A big well done to everyone involved – fingers crossed we helped to set a new world record!”
