YEAR 7 and 8 pupils at King’s Ely Junior have been participating in the wonderful ‘Postcards of Kindness’ project.
The nationwide project sees people sending postcards to residential homes to spread a little happiness and hopefully brighten up someone’s day.
Our pupils wrote letters to residents at a local care home and also sent birthday cards to a lady in Littleport who has celebrated her 106th birthday!
The ‘Postcards of Kindness’ campaign was launched in 2018 by Your Health Group – a care home provider with ten homes in the UK. Since then, it has grown rapidly into a nationwide initiative that is well-supported by people of all ages from across the UK.
