OUR first group of King’s Ely Junior pupils have finished making their ‘morsbags’.
In just under three weeks, the students have transformed old curtains and fabrics into reusable shopping bags which will be donated to the Visit Ely ‘Ely Borrow Bag’ scheme – part of Ely city centre’s mission to become free of plastic bags.
Thank you to everyone who has donated fabrics and materials so far – it will all be used as the children have lots more bags still to make!
