Our Coronation Celebrations at King’s Ely Junior also included a Poetry Competition.
All pupils in Years 3-8 were invited to enter by writing a poem, entitled: ‘If I were King Charles for a Day’.
The quality of the entries was exceptional, and choosing the winners was a huge challenge for the judges, Mrs Mankellow and Mr Bramley. However, after much deliberation, they decided the following:
Key Stage 2 Winners: Siriya Paragon and Rowan Chadwick-Redfarn
Key Stage 3 Winners: Zachary Hatton and Edward Mauremootoo
