ART Coordinator at King’s Ely Junior, Mrs Paling, ran an art workshop after school on October 10th for Year 5 pupils to attend while their families were at Parents’ Evening.
Mrs Paling said: “As it was World Mental Health Day, we talked about Vincent Van Gogh, who suffered with his mental health. Students used shades of yellow to paint a section of his Sunflowers painting.
“Palette knives were used to apply acrylic paint in the expressionist style of Van Gogh and the painted sections will be assembled to create a large replica of the original!”
