YEAR 6 King’s Ely Junior pupils could be found exploring Burghley House in Stamford on May 21st.

The students took part in two workshops as part of their special Art Trip; one called ‘The Story Behind the Face’, where they looked at the portraits in the house, and the other was ‘Making Wire Dragonflies in the Garden Classroom’.

Art Coordinator at King’s Ely Junior, Sarah Paling, said: “As it was such a warm day, the students also had the opportunity to go into the Garden of Surprises and splash around in the fountains. It really was a fantastic day!”
