YEAR 5 King’s Ely Junior pupils had a whale of a time during their residential trip to Kingswood, Norfolk just before the end of term.

Year 5 Teacher, Joanna Whymark, said: “Forty five students and four members of staff headed to the depths of Norfolk for their residential trip to Kingswood.

“Blindfolded, they explored the darkest undergrowth and navigated their way over and under obstacles. They bravely scaled the heights of the ‘Leap of Faith’, hurling themselves into the air and grappling for the trapeze!

“Challenge rockets were blasted off and the campfire was lit to toast our marshmallows. Great fun was had by all – thank you to Year 5 for being such wonderful team players!”
