KING’S Ely Junior pupils visited Burghley House near Stamford on May 24th.

The Year 6 Art trip saw the students splitting into two groups to take part in two different workshops. One workshop – the Story Behind the Face – saw the pupils looking at portraiture in the Burghley collection. The other workshop involved the pupils making quirky wire dragonflies in the garden classroom there.

The students also went to the beautiful Sculpture Garden and had fun in the sun in the ‘Garden of Surprises’.

Learning is brought to life at King’s Ely with the help of hands-on experiences, visits from experts and exciting trips. Our pupils develop learning habits which stick with them throughout their King’s Ely journey, taking great pride in their achievements along the way.
