WE were delighted to host Radley College’s Rowing Camp during the Easter break.

Sam Townsend, Head of Rowing at Radley, which is an independent boys’ boarding school, says staff and students had a “brilliant” time.

Mr Townsend said: “We had five eights training during the camp and we were getting ready for the National Schools Regatta at the end of May. The boys were rowing two to three times a day around their studying.

“The staff at King’s were amazing, bending over backwards to make us comfortable – everything from holding lunch and dinner when we were late back from the water, through to opening classrooms for boys to study in the evening. The food was excellent throughout the week and we really enjoyed the variety. We had a brilliant time and it has set us up well for the regatta season ahead.”
