TEN members of the King’s Ely Climbing Club have recently returned home from a trip to the beautiful bouldering mecca of Fontainebleau.

The week-long trip, staged through our unique outdoor education programme, Ely Scheme, saw the students getting stuck into various circuits around the forest, progressing their way up the grades.

When the weather wasn’t great, the team headed indoors to the Karma Climbing Centre, which boasts national standard training facilities.

It was a hugely successful trip – well done to all of the climbers – Harry Oliver Towers, Louis Gredley, James Schoenberg, Mikey Turner, David Harris, Tom Biggs, Ben Biggs, Alex Scarborough, Rhys Phillips and Jamie Layfield!
