In Reception, children build on the experiences and love of learning established in Nursery. Reception children enjoy adult-led teaching sessions combined with a range of provision that allows them to learn and discover through first-hand experiences and experimentation.
The learning is set within the context of a weekly topic and is guided by the interests of the children. In recent years, children have been inspired by pirate adventures, walking with dinosaurs and space exploration.
