Our Nursery 1 and Nursery 2 children brought their favourite teddies and cuddly toys in with them yesterday (June 23rd) as it was ‘Teddy Bear’s Picnic Day’ at King’s Ely Acremont Nursery.
Picnic blankets were laid out close to the wildlife garden at Acremont for the children and Practitioners to enjoy bear hunts, cuddles with their teddies, bear-themed stories and singing in the shade, and some water play with cups and teapots.
The picnic itself went down a storm, particularly the cupcakes and strawberries, and the activities concluded with some parachute play – with their teddies of course!
