ELY Cathedral proved the perfect venue for King’s Ely’s Senior Music Festival Finalists’ Concert on the evening of February 14th.
The winners were:
Intermediate Instrumentalist – James Wilkinson (Trombone),
Intermediate Vocalist – Elizabeth Thomson,
Senior Instrumentalist – Lisa Lyu (Piano),
Senior Vocalist – Emmanuelle Yembe,
Intermediate Young Musician of the Year (Walser Cup) – James Wilkinson (Trombone),
Senior Young Musician of the Year (Walser Trophy) – Lisa Lyu (Piano).
Well done to every single student who entered the competition – the standard was unbelievable this year!
