ANOTHER member of staff who has retired this summer is the lovely Linda Hill, Head of Religious Studies at King’s Ely Junior.
Linda has been with us since 2016 and says she has “loved” the role. As is the case with so many members of staff at King’s, Linda has been involved in so much outside the classroom, including boarding house duties and school trips.
Linda says she is looking forward to spending more time with her seven grandchildren – and that she might go back to playing the piano.
She added: “There will be lots that I will miss about King’s, especially the music and drama productions, concerts, the organ playing in the Cathedral and the friends I have made. There are always students you remember from every school you teach in, but I am not very good at remembering names!”
