WHAT a blast our Year 7 and 8 girls had during their Netball Trip to Condover Hall in Shropshire.
Charlotte Fletcher, Head of Girls’ Games at King’s Ely Junior, said: “We took a total of 26 girls away on the weekend trip. All of the girls had a fabulous time developing their netball and teamwork skills.
“The girls faced their fears and challenged themselves to the leap of faith and the high wires, as well as having loads of fun at the silent disco and laser quest.
“Netball wise, King’s Ely had three teams competing during the weekend. Our Year 8 teams performed particularly well against the other schools and clubs, and our Year 7 team were outstanding with their efforts, securing a place in the cup final on the Sunday.
“Sadly, the girls did not win this match but this did not dampen their spirits. An amazing weekend full of fun was had by all – thank you to Mrs Petherick and Miss Kippax for taking us!”
