What better way to discover more about ‘coasts’ than with a day trip to North Norfolk?!

Thankfully, ‘Sunny Hunny’ even lived up to its nickname when our Year 4 King’s Ely Prep pupils and teaching team descended on Hunstanton to enrich their current learning topic in Geography.

Mr Parkinson, who is Head of Geography at King’s Ely Prep, attended too to share his extensive knowledge of the area. The children were in their element exploring the sea front, and discovering more about the different attractions on offer to residents and tourists. They also had the opportunity to interview visitors and local people to discover what drew them to the Norfolk town, and what they think could make it even better.

After a tasty packed lunch on the green, the Year 4s admired the famous striped Hunstanton Cliffs and even did some sketches of them. Of course, ice creams were devoured too!
