THERE are so many aspects of school life at King’s Ely which make us ‘Uniquely King’s’. One of them is without a shadow of doubt, our close links with Ely Cathedral. The magnificent ‘Ship of the Fens’ serves as our School Chapel and makes the perfect setting for assemblies, concerts and more!

These photos were taken at King’s Ely Junior’s Prizegiving, which took place inside the Cathedral during the final week of term. Pupils and staff from Years 3-8 came together for the event, as well as families, governors, SLT members and friends of the school.

Major Academic Prizes, Head of House Prizes, Contribution to School Life Prizes, Commitment to Learning Prizes, Individual Subject Prizes – yes, there were a lot of happy, proud children!

Mr Day, our Head of Media, tried to photograph as many prize winners as he could, but he wasn’t able to stay for the whole service due to other end-of-term events taking place around school. However, we hope you enjoy the images posted here.
