CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who made our King’s Ely Junior production of Gulliver’s Travels such a wonderful success!

After months of rehearsals, our Year 5 and 6 performance was streamed online to ticket holders on December 6th evening and we have received some fantastic feedback.

Alexandra Moxon, Show Director, said: “This epic story was challenging to bring to life under current restrictions and was a demanding piece for the young performers, however they all brought energy and creativity to the rehearsal process and rose to the challenge.

“I am incredibly proud of all their hard work and dedication over this term to create a piece of theatre in the midst of a pandemic! It is the first streamed production that the department has showcased and the entire process was incredibly daunting, yet brilliant. Thank you to all the staff who were involved in the making, filming and editing of the piece, the parents who supported the cast with their lines, and of course the students, who were a delight to work with. I hope they look back on the production fondly and that I am able to work with them again soon!”

Thank you also to King’s Ely Sixth Form student, Molly Whymark, for the photos!
